There is a choice that people have after experiencing a challenging disability or chronic illness: they choose to either give up or to take the next step-a step that will treat the mind, body and spirit as one. This is WHY The Perfect Step was created-a Community based Wellness Center that offers 7 days a week access to “Life Coaches” for spinal cord injury, stroke recovery, obesity, arthritis, diabetes, cardiac after care, and other chronic injuries or illnesses.
The facility will offer comprehensive and lifetime development with the assistance of professionals in specialized areas, including:

The equipment, staff and personalized programs will be offered in this new building in a comfortable, safe and supportive environment.
The Perfect Step has been a dream long in the making and is dedicated to helping people who have experienced a debilitating injury or illness lead a more independent, healthy lifestyle through exercise and activity based therapy. The purpose is to offer a continuum of care in a non-hospital setting.
The project is the culmination of collaboration between The Claremont Club and the Hargrave family, whose son; Hal Hargrave Jr. experienced a catastrophic spinal cord injury in 2007. During his recovery he began motivating others to continue a lifetime of recovery.
Being perfect is a motto that Hal Jr. has always lived by, giving it your all and being the best of which you are capable of being: honesty with your self; your family and your friends.
With financial support from The Claremont Club and the Hargrave family, The Perfect Step is going from a dream to a reality. From breaking ground in May, 2011 to completion in October, 2011, many will await to take the next step, their Perfect Step in a healing environment of support services. Many people will not have the financial resources to cover cost of recovery. The Be Perfect Foundation is asking for your support. Please consider donating to The Perfect Step Scholarship Fund which will assist applicants who are trying to reach recovery.
